Music

The Music Ministry is a growing vital part of the community liturgical process. Through their participation in music, ministers desire to "inspire the community to: participate in celebration, deepen prayer, meet God, and go forth to serve God's people." There are no age limits: the young participate in the Children's Choir. We are always looking for new singers to fill our choirs and instrumentalists of all kinds are welcomed. Consider joining the choir. No matter what your level of expertise in music - if you have the interest and desire, there is a place for you in singing God's praises and leading our fellow community members in sung prayer.  Stop by the choir after Mass to speak with either Michele Wrightson or Kathy Majikas.

Prayer Group

The Prayer Group meets in the church on Mondays at 9:45am.  Anyone who would like to join is most welcome.  If you have special intentions, need for prayer or to add a name to the prayer line, please call 978-422-6548 or 978-422-6627.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

The RCIA is a process through which adults and children from the age of 7 are prepared for the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. RCIA is designed for people who have been baptized in other Christian traditions, those who have never been baptized and those who were baptized in the Catholic Church but have not made their First Communion or Confirmation. Scripture sharing, information, conversation and prayer are all part of the process.  There is also an opportunity for parishioners to serve as sponsors, companions or team members.   For more information, please contact Fr. Tom at 978-422-8881.

Altar Server

All youth of the parish who are in the 4th grade or higher are welcome to have an active role in the Eucharistic Celebration as an altar server. Four servers are required at each weekend mass. The cross bearer, who leads the procession into the assembly for worship; the book bearer, who holds the Sacramentary or book of prayers; two acolytes, both assist the priest in the preparation of the gifts of bread and wine. At special celebrations, servers may be required to carry the incense or holy water.   Those interested should contact Sr. Anne Marie at 978-422-8881.

Couple to Couple
Married couples work with engaged couples preparing them for marriage. This ministry includes one-on-one meetings between the engaged couple and the mentoring couple who have received special training and have a strong commitment to marriage. Couples interested in becoming a mentoring couple should contact Fr. Tom at 978-422-8881.

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministry is very special. It is a way of serving our community and experiencing in a special way the Lord's Presence in our midst. Being a Eucharistic Minister is a privilege not simply a job to be done in the name of efficiency. This ministry celebrates the glory of Christ himself, transforming the simple act of sharing bread and wine into a Pascal Feast.  Those interested should contact Sr. Anne Marie at 978-422-8881.

Lectors

Ministers of the Word are commissioned to proclaim Sacred Scripture in our Liturgies.  Those interested should contact Sr. Anne Marie at 978-422-8881.
