All candidates, Grade 10 or above, should be accompanied to preparation classes by a sponsor or parent.  A sponsor must be a Confirmed, practicing Catholic and at least 16 years of age.  Enrollment for the sacrament is held during an orientation meeting in September of each year.

MarriageMarriage
 The Sacrament of Marriage is celebrated following an extended program of marriage preparation.  This program is designed to assist a couple in developing a healthy and spiritually sound relationship.  Arrangements should be made before the wedding date is set, and at least one year prior to the anticipated date.  Please contact a member of the pastoral staff.

Blessing of the SickSacrament of the Sick
Anointing of the Sick was once called Extreme Unction or the Sacrament of the Dying. The sacrament now is an anointing and a blessing that offers the grace to overcome frailties and the strength, peace and courage to overcome the difficulties of serious illness. If you or a loved one would benefit from this Sacrament, please call the Rectory at 978-422-8881.

BaptismBaptism 
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated at the convenience of the family after weekend Mass.  As this sacrament begins membership in the faith community, the parents and sponsors should be practicing Catholics in the life of the church.  A home visit by a member of the pastoral staff and attendance at a Baptism Workshop is required.  Please contact a member of the pastoral staff to make arrangements.  For more information click on "Baptism" above.

 Eucharist Holy Eucharist
First Communion is considered one of the holiest and most important occasions in a Roman Catholic's life. It means that person has received the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Children prepare for First Communion when they reach the age of reason (seven or eight years of age).  Others can receive communion for the first time whenever they've met all the Church's requirements.  Preparation is a monthly class for parent and child.
PenanceReconciliation
Children of our parish will make their first confession, or the Sacrament of Penance, before receiving their First Communion.   Further preparation is provided for those age 9 or above during regular religious education classes.  Preparation is during lent.  Confessions are scheduled every Saturday at 4:30pm or anytime by appointment.
